Apologies for my tardiness in posting this and getting the rules updated. I am a fail!mod. Working on it now, promotional banners soon.

1. Schedule and Pinch-Hitting

The schedule for Sutcliff Swap 2013 has been determined as follows:

Signups: April 8-14
Matching and assignments go out: April 22 (or earlier)
Creation period: April 22-June 3
Default deadline: May 20
Fanwork deadline: June 3
Pinch hit deadline: June 9
Archive opens: June 10

There will be no creator reveal, since per the result of the community polls we have decided to open the collection with names attached. This also means artists will be responsible for their own image hosting.

After May 26,

isis will be unable to answer emails, so all mod questions after that point should be addressed to

carmarthen (caerfyrddin AT gmail DOT com), who will also be handling pinch hit coordination this year.

2. Anonymity Policy

A change from last year: due to the small nature of the exchange and the fandom, and per the community vote, we will not have an anonymous creator period after reveal. All fanworks will go live with the creator pseudonyms attached.

However, we still want works to be a surprise for their recipients, so please be discreet in discussing your assignments.

3. Treats

This year we will also be formally allowing treats. At some point late in the assignment period, we will be making prompts public to facilitate this. If you have concerns about this, please let one of us know ASAP.

However, we do not want anyone to feel pressured to create treats--they are an extra option for people who have the time and inclination, not an obligation.

4. Source Promotion

In preparation for signups, please consider checking out the Source Promotion Post (DW) for ideas or to promote your favorite Sutcliff source. You can also check out last year's post for some lively discussion. Please be aware that source promotion posts often contain spoilers. You may also want to check out this post (DW mirror).
