Default deadline is TONIGHT

We hope everyone is having fun with their assignments, but just a friendly reminder that if you need to default from Sutcliff Swap for any reason, the last day for defaulting and being able to participate next year without penalty is today, July 18. You can still default after tonight, but there will likely be some kind of task to be eligible to participate next year (TBD).

To default, simply email one of the mods at caerfyrddin AT gmail DOT com or isiscolo AT gmail DOT com and let us know you won't be able to finish your assignment by August 1. You do not need to give any reasons for defaulting, and if you would prefer, you can use this template:

Hi, Sutcliff Swap mods. I will be unable to finish my assignment for [recipient] by August 1 and will need to default.

We have a number of people who have volunteered to pinch hit. If you default but end up finishing your assignment, you are welcome and encouraged to post it to the collection anyway.

If for some reason you find you need to default after today, the more advance warning you can give us to find a pinch hitter, the better. We would prefer you default and find you can finish your assignment after all than wait until the last minute to default. :-)
