Hee, I'm sure! I mean, Frontier Wolf is not depressing, but the subtext I was seeing was Alexios/Cunorix, so I was a swirly mass of feelings, and then when the next thing I read was Mark of the Horse Lord I kind of plunged off an emotional cliff.
(I am tapping my foot waiting for Someone Else to pimp Mark of the Horse Lord but if she doesn't I'm going to, because GAHH AWESOME BOOK.)
