I just happen to have a question about vampires in Roman Britain. Obviously, the southeastern folkloric euro-vampire we know and fear today is one thing, but vampire-like creatures/demons/spirits were featured in Greek, Roman, Mesopotamian and Hebrew tales.
Do we take it as: 1) Vlad, your average time-travelling Balkan vampire, has shenanigans in Roman Britain, meddling in Brigantes politics and leading a blood-thirsty anti-Roman revolt = NO 2) A centurion in the Eastern provinces has an unfortunate run-in with a corporeal revenant avenging blood-guilt = YES 3) Caledonia is full of human tribes, but also supernatural, like baobhan sith (vampire/fairy/succubus Scottish Highland creatures) who ally themselves against Rome and attack the wall = YES
