AHAHAHA. I totally agree that Sutcliff would be entirely onboard with fanfiction.

I actually was thinking about starting this now, as I've just finished reading The Shield Ring. I had been avoiding it for reasons of having read a string of really depressing Sutcliff and wanting something a little cheerier first, but I guess it's time. (Don't spoil me; I only was advised not to read it right away after my doom-and-gloom post about other books.)
